Abstract :
Protecting properly a line of extra high voltage transmission equipped with series compensation continues until today to be a major challenge for the engineers of electrical systems protection. This work will propose steps to minimizing these operating conditions developed for operation in parallel with the Fourier algorithm common to all manufacturers of digital signal processing techniques, such as the Wavelet Transform concepts of pattern recognition through analysis of the clusters, and finally of the Neural networks to detect the presence or absence of a Series Capacitor in the leaking loop.
