Abstract :
The Edison Medal for 1952 has been awarded to Vladimir K. Zworykin of the RCA Laboratories Division, Radio Corporation of America, “for outstanding contributions to the concept and design of electronic components and systems.” The Medal, awarded annually by the AIEE Edison Medal Committee, is for meritorious achievement in electrical science or electrical engineering or the electrical arts.
