Abstract :
This paper describes new results of the research on quasi-anechoic measurement of loudspeakers in ordinary room. Proposed method is a combination of MLS (Maximum Length Sequence) algorithm and adaptive beamforming based on LCMV (Linearly Constrained Minimum Variance) algorithm. Application of the adaptive beamforming algorithm allows the extension measure of impulse response by damping reflections from walls, floor and ceiling. As a consequence, proposed method gives a possibility to measure a long impulse response and full band frequency response of loudspeakers in rooms.
