The production of television receivers

Efficient production can only be achieved by full collaboration and understanding between designer and production engineer. The manufacture of television receivers lends itself to quantity production methods, since costs can only be kept down by improved methods, resulting in more efficient labour utilization. The paper describes some labour-saving methods on television component production and methods used on an actual television assembly in quantity, and for testing, cabineting and packing up to despatch point.
