Abstract
The charge carrier motion around an isolated spherical object, in the presence of an electric field and an air stream crossing with the arbitrary angle in three dimensions, is analysed. Most analyses on charge carrier motion have mainly been conducted in two dimensions. The phenomena that cannot be simulated in two dimensions are not understood in detail. The model and the calculated result, on examining the ion-flow electrification phenomenon as an example of the charge carrier motion are described. And the effects of the charge on the spherical object; the velocity of an air stream and the crossing angle between an electric field and an air stream on the limiting streamlines flowing in and the cross-sectional area of ions flowing in are studied.
