Abstract :
The paper describes the design of super-heterodyne receiver having very high selectivity, sensitivity and gain stability for use in the frequency band 6 to 36 kc/s. The high selectivity is obtained by means of controlled increase of Q-factor of the tuned circuits of the i.f. amplifiers, using mixed positive and negative feedback.
