Abstract :
The characteristics of the ferroresonant circuit are analysed and conditions for bistabiity obtained. Problems of high frequency operation are considered and the composition and configuration of suitable ferrites discussed. A carrier frequency of 1 Mc/s seems to be the present limit. Practical circuits are presented for a shift register, 3-stage binary counter and 2-input logical adder.
