Abstract :
We have developed an approach for effectively reducing the interpolation dimensions and thus the computational burden in a multidimensional interpolation (MDI) problem. More important, our approach can be used for interpolation task where other interpolation techniques may not be applicable. We illustrate this approach by using MDI problems that arise in medical imaging.
