Abstract :
In this paper, the applicability of a vibration suppression control scheme is presented, based on the actual observable states using suspension stroke sensors to general gasoline engine vehicles. As the vibration suppression, an observer combined state feedback control is applied to suppress pitching and bouncing motion in vehicle bodies using gasoline engines. The proposed control has been experimentally evaluated by an actual gasoline engine driven vehicle in conditions of steady-state running.
