Video-frequency equipment for television centres of the Soviet Union

Details are given of the present state of the television broadcasting network and the proposals for its extension over the next seven years. A brief classification of the equipment for television centres is given in accordance with its programme potentialities. A new television equipment designed for mass production is briefly described. Technical performances of television cameras are discussed and the reasons for certain principles adopted in their design are outlined.
