Abstract
Previously, a harmonic domain-based technique for analyzing resonance conditions in a generator-open line system was proposed by one of the authors. This letter presents the extension of this technique to include time-periodic elements, specifically electronic devices. The extended method is based on the eigenanalysis of the network´s transfer matrix in the harmonic domain which is expressed as a function of the conduction angles of the electronic devices. Those angles are swept within a practical operation range, yielding a picture where resonance conditions may appear without the need to simulate the network. An example is presented.
