Real-time monitoring of test and quality control management

For engineering test and quality control management to be effective it is essential that meaningful and reliable data from production, test and quality control departments is made available as quickly as possible. The existence of a time lag between data collection, analysis and report generation, largely accepted as inevitable in the past, can have a devastating effect on today´s fast moving large-scale manufacturing operations. Equally important are the errors and problems introduced by the human interface between data collection and report generation.
