Abstract :
Complexity-efficient time interpolation for pilot-symbol-assisted channel estimation in OFDM systems is presented. The method exploits a `fraction l+1+-step linear prediction, which leads to no need of symbol data buffers required in a conventional method to match an estimate of channel with the corresponding symbol data due to the difference of their process latencies. The simulation demonstrates a performance comparable to or better than that of the conventional method.
