Abstract
In every organization, fast information access and making right decisions based on the information accessed is very important. A good data warehouse provides efficient information extraction and decision making. In this paper focus is on the estimation of quality of data warehouse conceptual models using quality metrics. An empirical study is performed on the data collected using various statistical techniques. A new metric NRFD (number of relations between facts and dimensions) has also been included for empirical validation. The results of experiments show that some of the metrics are strong measures of understandability of conceptual models.
