  • Abstract
This paper presents a survey on techniques used in Autonomous Maze Solving Robot aka Micromouse. Autonomous movement is an important feature which allows a robot to move freely from one point to another without the mediation from human being. The micromouse is required to solve any kind of maze in shortest interval of time. Autonomous movement within the unknown area requires the robot to investigate, situate and plan the outlaying area. By solving a maze, the referenced algorithms and their pros and cons can be studied and analyzed.
