Abstract
A single side-band (SSB) MMIC mixer employing a sub-harmonic configuration with an anti-parallel diode (APD) pair for 38 GHz band applications is designed and fabricated. Coplanar waveguide (CPW) models were used to design the mixer circuit. It acts as both an up- and down-converter with a conversion loss of less than 12.4 dB and a high image rejection ratio of greater than 15.1 dB over a wide frequency range from 32.5 to 42.0 GHz
