Abstract :
For reliable video transmission over error-prone mobile channels, an adaptive resynchronisation marker positioning (RMP) method is proposed for rapidly resynchronising the VLC decoding synchronisation which is often lost due to channel errors. The simulation results show that the proposed adaptive RMP method gives a remarkable improvement over the fixed RMP method
