Abstract :
This letter proposes an improved detection scheme to mitigate the influence of carrier frequency offsets (CFOs) in uplink orthogonal frequency division multiplexing-interleave division multiple access (OFDM-IDMA) systems. The basic principle is to iteratively estimate and cancel the combined interference from multiple users and CFOs at the receiver so that the additional interference due to the residual CFOs from other users can be suppressed. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can effectively eliminate the interference and significantly improve the system performance in the presence of CFOs.
