  • Abstract
    A high-speed (100 Mbit/s) local area network, that uses direct-sequence, spread-spectrum, code-division, multipleaccess techniques is described. Details of the actual hardware implementation are presented and code sequence allocation and distribution are discussed. It is demonstrated that the performance of this network is particularly suited to the naval environment, for which it was designed.
