Abstract :
In this paper a novel asymmetric CPW fed with conjoined S-shape antenna presented for multiband applications. The antenna is designed on the Taconic RF-35 dielectric substrate of 20 mm (width) × 18 mm (length) × 0.76 mm (thickness) with relative permittivity 3.5. In order to generate multi band characteristics, the parallel slots are placed above the radiating patch, additional resonances are excited. The proposed antenna consists of conjoined s-shape and parallel slot which operates at three bands, covering 3 GHz at S band, 7 GHz at c band and 10 GHz at X band. The simulation result shows better performance, return loss, good radiation pattern with reasonable gain across the operating bands. The proposed antenna is analyzed by CST Microwave studio based on finite integration technique (FIT) method.
