Transistor pulse generator

The circuit details of a new type of transistor pulse generator have been described. The mode of operation has been explained on the basis of the circuit conditions which make the two transistors alternately conducting and non-conducting. The circuit is capable of generating short duration pulses with fairly small rise and fall times having an easy control on the repetition rate. The expression for the time periods when one transistor (X1) is conducting and the other (X2) is cut off and vice versa has been developed.
