Abstract :
An approach to the design and development of transistorized VHF FM transreceiver using indigenously available components is presented in this paper. Design features and performance details of some of the basic modules of the transreceivers are discussed in a general way. Comments on some incidental aspects such as standardization and economic factors are also included.
