Abstract :
A novel post-processing technique is presented which reduces DCT noise patterns in block coded images. The proposed technique first estimates the DCT noise patterns across the image, then reduces this particular distortion by appropriate filtering. The simulation results show that the proposed technique provides good subjective qualities
