Abstract
Addresses the important problem of evaluating the performance of tightly coupled multiprocessor systems under memory hot spot traffic by presenting an interference analysis of multistage interconnection networks (MINs) for such systems. It is shown that the tree saturation effect does not occur in nonblocking circuit-switched MINs.
