Abstract :
Some inaccuracies have been found in the path loss model that has been proposed by ETSI (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System; Selection Procedures for the Choice of Radio Transmission Technologies of the UMTS (UMTS 30.03 version 3.2.0): European Telecommunications Standards Institute, 1998. Section 1.8.1.3) for the vehicular test environment of the Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS). Since this propagation model is being used for simulation and system evaluation purposes, the present authors consider that it is important to point out this fact
