The accuracy of measurements in lumped R-C cable circuits as used in the study of transient heat flow

Armi (Leeds and Northrup Company, Philadelphia, Pa.): As stated in part IV, section 1 of the paper, it would be desirable to have theoretical curves for comparison with the experimental results obtained. Fortunately, such curves can easily be plotted for the case illustrated in Figures 13 and 14 of the paper. Carslaw¹ and Byerly² give an expression for the temperature in an infinite slab whose faces are held at fixed temperatures and which has a known temperature distribution at the time t = 0.
