Abstract :
The audio-video transmission through a optical wireless communication link is to create a new form of free space optical communication to the society that can be marketed with small size and low cost. It reduces the cabling complexities and maintenance issues to a great extent. The system is latency free and without any interference. The paper reports the design, construction and performance of an intensity modulated technique over a LASER for short range communication of voice and video channels for video-conferencing or monitoring over buildings within a large campus.
