Abstract
Methods of presenting transistor theory in the final year of an engineering degree course are described. After introducing small-signal theory, temperature and h.f. effects are covered and the treatment of relaxation-type circuits presented in terms of charge-control parameters. Reference is made to suitable supporting experiments.
