Abstract :
Cooperative diversity is the process reduces the fading effect in wireless communication. It consists of a source, a relay and a destination to perform the error analyses with Incremental relaying. The Incremental relaying is done based on the feedback from the receiver. For instantaneous Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) of source destination link greater than threshold, the relay will be idle. In other case, through feedback initiation the relay performs Decode and Forward relaying and at destination we use Maximal Ratio Combining (MRC) to combine the received signals. The end-to-end Symbol Error Probability (SEP) for incremental relaying using decode and forward (DF) protocol for MPSK symbol is derived in closed form. From the result, optimum threshold is obtained that has better performance than the non-cooperative and the conventional cooperation scheme.
