An investigation of the relationship between temperature and movement of cables in ducts (44–132)

Haines (Boston Edison Company Boston, Mass.): In an attempt to correlate the severity of cable-sheath troubles with racking conditions in the manholes a survey has been made of two heavily loaded double tie lines which have given considerable trouble in the past. They were installed 17 years ago in a duct line having a consider able variety of manhole conditions.
