Abstract :
A new microwave transmission line with low loss and velocity matched to a lightwave for a III-V traveling-wave electrooptic modulator has been analyzed using the spectral domain technique. A bandwidth of >40 GHz and a half-wave voltage Vπ of <6 V are predicted for the modulator
