Abstract
Calculations appropriate to the design of microwave cavities containing uniaxial electro-optic crystals used in the modulation of optical beams are reported. Results for a series of crystals (KDP and isomorphs) embedded in various filler dielectrics are presented as graphsof a frequency parameter against ratio of crystal radius/cavity radius
