Abstract :
The relationship between the impedance match bandwidth and the structural geometry of one configuration of a resonant quadrifilar helix antenna has been established. It is shown that bandwidth is directly proportional to the diameter to height ratio of the cylindrical envelope containing the radiating elements. A useful antenna design formula is presented.
