Abstract :
This article mainly focuses on a new type of tool called "Web application scanners." Detailed information about this tool and its behavior, functionality, and require ments is presented here. In order to know what security is, what different tools are available, and what Web scanners can do, this article explains the functional requirements and gives us an idea on what a scanner should basically do when used for security purposes.
