Editorial

“Electrical engineering is dead. Long live electrical engineering.” My twist on the famous proclamation, issued at the accession of a new monarch after the old one´s demise, may seem like an odd choice of words to commence my first editorial for IEEE Potentials, but to me it rings truer than ever before.
