Abstract :
A method to allocate resources for end users in MANET is proposed in this paper. The proposed algorithm has used a WQF model to allocate the bandwidth and stream synchronization. It has been tested under different scenarios to evaluate the network performance using NS-2.33. The simulation results have shown that the packets are transmitted with the minimum delay at the high load. The proposed model takes only 500 ms for transmission of 35,000 PUs from the source to the destination. This work does not consider packet loss, but in real situations there is a packet loss in the network. The basic mechanism in this work is highly extensible and supports QoS for end-users. Currently, it is incorporated with some additional optimizations to quantify the effects of the individual optimizations on the behavior and performance of the protocol.
