Abstract :
Using published parameters of Canada´s RADARSAT-1 spaceborne Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) platform, a SAR image of Central Park was generated and used to analyze several types of jamming. Broadband noise, narrowband noise and a coherent repeater (false target) jammers were simulated at various effective radiated power (ERP) levels with assumed jammer knowledge of the victim SAR system such as location, timing, and waveform details.
