Digital control for primary radar systems

An investigation into the use of digital logic techniques for simple pulsemodulated radar systems resulted in their application to provide the necessary controlling and timing waveforms for a display. The paper describes a conventional analogue display and its digital counterpart and compares both systems. Results for the performance of a logic system are given.
