Abstract :
Due to the importance of interference problem, new ZigBee RF4CE standard supports basic channel agility function sets. However, the standard does not provide a fully functional channel agility mechanism. Therefore, in this paper we introduce a proactive channel agility method, which can be easily implemented with RF4CE basic function sets, and propose a dynamic multi-channel agility (DMCA), which has the ability to overcome limitations of proactive approach by coping well with dynamic interference environments using multi-channel CCA and fast channel recovery.
