  • Abstract
    This paper consists of two parts about YBCO on flexible metal substrate project. (1) The CeO2/MgO buffer layers were epitaxially grown on textured nickel substrate using magnetron sputtering method. (2) A Cu-Ni alloy as a nonmagnetic substrate material was developed. On textured Cu-Ni substrate, a NiO(200) buffer layer was obtained. These results will provide a promising candidate for making HTS YBCO film on metallic substrates
