Abstract :
A linearised power amplifier biased in class C, suitable for a personal communication network (PCN) system with high data rates, is described. Up to 40% power-added efficiency can be achieved for a 20 dB reduction of the third order intermodulation products at 1.5 MHz from the carrier frequency.
