Abstract :
In this paper, we analyze the behaviour of digital filters in the two-type interlaced structures in conjunction with the lossless bounded real (LBR) test. In particular, we classify the filters into two classes-one in which we can possibly omit the LBR test, and the other in which we must not do so. We then apply this classification technique to the conventional digital filters such as Butterworth, Chebyshev, and elliptic filters
