  • Abstract
    A planar built-in antenna with a balance-fed configuration, denoted a balance-fed planar inverted-F antenna (BPFA), has been developed for the IMT-2000, third-generation (3G) mobile communication system. The BPFA features balanced operation, which leads to a significant reduction in the current induced on the telephone body and therefore the absence of any significant effect caused by the operator´s hand
