Abstract :
The fabrication and characterisation of monolithically integrated OEIC transceivers for use in optical subscriber access links are reported. A design incorporating DFB lasers, wavelength duplexers and a monitor photodiode, specific to the TPON/BPON passive optical network configuration is presented.
