  • Abstract
    A new method of operating ferrite line pulse sharpeners which significantly improves achievable rise time is described. The essence of the method is to subject the line to an axial magnetic field of varying amplitude so enhancing the interaction between the pulse and precessional phenomena in the ferrite.
