Abstract :
For original article see ibid., vol.26, no.25, p.2132 (1990). Engheta and Zablocky obtained the Kramers-Kronig relationships for isotropic chiral materials, and have claimed therefore that they have made the ´first step towards understanding the transient response of chiral materials´. Readers are alerted hereby to a 1967 paper published in the Proceedings of the Royal Society. In this paper, Emeis et al. studied the Kramers-Kronig relationships for isotropic chiral materials.
