Abstract :
The operational experience obtained in the utilization, maintenance, and development of the system operation training simulator (SOTS) is described. Training scenarios, instructor and trainee comments and experiences, evaluation guidelines, database maintenance considerations, and some simulation problems encountered are presented and discussed. Some suggestions are made in regard to the additional requirements for future SOTS specifications. Special attention is devoted to the simulation of system shutdown and restart procedures
