Abstract :
A subspace decomposition imaging (SDI) method for measuring a bio-electromagnetic source signal is proposed. The SDI technique is based on spatiotemporal signal analysis from a matrix perspective that decomposes the source into low-rank and sparse components in a manner consistent with the underlying bio-mechanism in statistics. The results establish the feasibility of the SDI method for bio-electromagnetic source signal measurement, with resulting solutions that provide substantial performance improvement over conventional methods.
