Abstract :
In the above paper (Hunt and Verma, 1994), a nonlinear observer has been constructed when an initial error is sufficiently small. However, the proof of Lemma 2.2/sup /contains some errors. The authors provide a correct proof of Lemma 2.2 and show that the results still hold, but with reduced bounds of the initial error, states, and the new input.
