Abstract :
Possibilities for experimental instrumentation in connection with the International Geophysical Year satellites are discussed. A number of experiments appear to satisfy the acceptance criteria for inclusion in the first group of satellites. Certain others may qualify for later satellites if slight relaxations on weight and configuration are permitted.
